Noida News: Bisrakh police station of Noida has arrested a vicious robber after an encounter. The miscreant got injured due to bullet injury in the encounter. Stolen bike, pistol, cartridges and Rs 5,000 have been recovered from it. More than two dozen cases including robbery, robbery and attempt to murder have been registered against the caught criminal.
The miscreant started running away by taking a U-turn
DCP Central Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that the Bisrakh police station was checking suspicious vehicles and persons at the ATS intersection. During this time, the police team signaled a person coming on a bike to stop. Seeing the police, the said person took a U turn and started running towards Hindon Pusta. On the basis of suspicion the police team chased him. During this time, the miscreant’s bike slipped and he fell on the road. When the police team tried to nab him, he opened fire. In retaliation, the miscreant was shot in the leg and injured. After this the police team caught him. The caught criminal revealed his name as Rizwan alias Shahrukh, son of Mohammad Shahid, resident of Bulandshahr district. Bike, pistol, cartridges and Rs 5,000 were recovered from it.
The criminal was roaming around with the intention of committing a crime.
Rizwan alias Shahrukh, who was caught during interrogation, told that he had recently snatched a chain in Vijaynagar Ghaziabad area. He had sold this chain. Regarding the recovered motorcycle, he told that he had stolen this bike from Sector-63 police station area. DCP said that Rizwan was roaming on a stolen bike with the intention of committing some criminal act. He said that more than two dozen cases including attempt to murder, robbery and dacoity have been registered against the arrested Rizwan in Ghaziabad, Delhi and Gautam Buddha Nagar.
