New pictures surfaced from ISS, Sunita Williams looked thin, what is she eating to survive in space?

Science News Desk – Some time ago a picture of astronaut Sunita Williams was revealed. In which she was looking very thin. Doctors had also expressed concern about his health. Although NASA rejected the news of his ill health, the pictures have raised concerns. Actually, NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are stranded on the International Space Station. In such a situation, let us know what they are eating to stay alive.

Surviving on pizza, roast chicken and shrimp cocktails
NASA astronauts are surviving on the space station by eating pizza, roast chicken and shrimp cocktail, the New York Post reported. However, a source with knowledge of the Boeing Starliner mission has said that both astronauts have a limited amount of fresh food. According to the information, they have many types of dishes to eat. The list includes cereals, pizza, roast chicken, pizza, shrimp cocktail and tuna with powdered milk. Despite this, doctors are concerned about whether astronauts are getting enough calories or not. However, some food products are visible in the photo released by NASA. Both astronauts were seen eating food on the ISS on September 9.

This is how they are living their lives
According to the formula, fresh fruits are available in the beginning, but after three months they expire. Their fruits and vegetables are packed or freeze-dried. They have meat and eggs cooked on earth. All they have to do is warm them up. For other things water is required. Items like soups, stews and casseroles come from the space station’s 530-gallon fresh water tank. Apart from this, urine and sweat of astronauts are also recycled into fresh water on the ISS.

Hope to return by February
It is believed that NASA is keeping a close eye on the stranded astronauts. Now he is expected to return to Earth in the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule. Elon Musk’s Dragon capsule will be used to bring them back safely. This capsule will rescue the Starliner crew in February.
