In the instructions issued by the Ministry, employers (companies and firms) have been asked to get all UANs verified on Aadhaar through One Time Password (OTP) obtained from the mobile number registered in Aadhaar, so that the members associated with EPFO ​​can get the information from the government. According to the ministry, in the first phase, employers will have to complete the process of UAN activation through Aadhaar-based OTP for all their employees joining in the current financial year by November 30, 2024, starting with the recently joined employees first.
