Breast milk is being consumed extensively all over the world including India, Cambodia, America and England. Apart from this, frozen breast milk products are also available in the market. These products are made without sacrificing nutrition and have other ingredients added to make them more nutritious.

Why the demand for frozen mother milk?

What are the criteria for giving breast milk?

This is done to ensure that there are no harmful bacteria or viruses in the milk. For breast milk donation, the age of the donor should be between 21 to 35 years. This age has been decided because at this age women have more breast milk. The woman donating breast milk must be completely healthy. If the woman is suffering from any serious illness or is pregnant, she is not considered eligible to donate milk. If a woman has menstrual or other health related problems during breast milk donation, she is prevented from donating milk.
