Who needs to update Aadhaar?

• Actually, the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI has already said that people whose Aadhaar card has been valid for 10 years have to get it updated. At present, you can update it online for free till December 14, 2024.

• However, if you get your Aadhar card updated offline by visiting the centre, then you have to pay a fee for it. In such a situation, if you want to update your Aadhar card online, then you have one month left.

• In such a situation, to check the status, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/en/
• Here you have to login with the help of your Aadhar card.

• Now you have to click on ‘SRN’ and then fill your service request number here.
• After this you will see the captcha code on the screen, enter it and then you will know your status.
