Who is JDU MLA K. Joykishan Singh?
No. Joykishan Singh is MLA from Thangmaiband. He has become MLA from this seat for the third time. He won the elections in the year 2022 from Janata Dal United (JDU). Earlier in the 2017 elections, Joykishan Singh had contested on Congress ticket and defeated BJP candidate Jotin Vaikhom by a margin of just 157 votes. He won the 2012 elections from TMC.
Robbery at MLA’s house
MLA K Joykishan Singh’s mother has lodged a police complaint of vandalism and looting. According to the police, the mob had targeted the house of MLA Joykishan Singh on November 16. Meanwhile, the attackers created a ruckus in his house for about 2 hours and broke valuables. Besides, jewelery worth Rs 1.5 crore kept in the house and cash worth about Rs 18 lakh were also looted.
Miscreants also looted potatoes and onions
There was no one at the MLA’s residence when the attack took place. The MLA had gone to Delhi with his family. After vandalizing the MLA’s house, the mob reached the relief camp set up at Tombisana Higher Secondary School at a short distance. The miscreants created a ruckus in this camp too and then looted onions, onions and winter clothes.
