Lohian Khas (Jalandhar). Lohian Khas police of Jalandhar in Punjab has registered a case against a resident for raping a minor girl.
Investigating officer Lady Inspector Chanchal said on Thursday that the accused has been identified as Sagar Singh son of Lakhwinder Singh alias Jasi, resident of Chacha Colony Lohian Khas.
In the complaint given to the police, the victim’s mother said that on the evening of November 20, when her daughter complained of stomach ache, she gave her medicine and she became suspicious of her daughter.
The complainant told that when he strictly interrogated his daughter, she told that she had friendly relations with the accused for the last one and a half years. She told that in April the accused seduced her minor daughter and had physical relations with her and she became pregnant.
The investigating officer said that a case has been registered against the accused under Section 65(1) of BNS and Section 6 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offenses Act. No arrest has been made in this case yet.
