Aiden Markram created history by hitting Pachasa in 23 balls against England, the fastest South African batsman to do this feat

On Tuesday (September 2), South Africa started the three -match ODI series against England in Handingley, Leeds. After winning the toss, the first bowling decision proved beneficial for the team and the entire team of England collapsed for just 131 runs. The bowlers of South Africa once again showed great coordination, with Keshav Maharaj (4/22) and Vian Mulder (3/33) the most successful.

South Africa, chasing the target, got the opening start by opener Aiden Markram. He completed his half -century in just 23 balls and became the fastest South African batsman against England in ODIs. Earlier this record was the name of Chris Morris (off 30 balls).

Markram hit 13 fours and 2 sixes in his innings and scored a total of 86 runs. Ryan Ryyan Ricelton scored an innings of 31* runs with him, while in the end Dewald Brevis scored a six and won the team in 20.5 overs. Only Adil Rashid was effective from England, who took 3 wickets.

With this stunning victory, South Africa took a 1-0 lead in the series and Aiden Markram added a new chapter in South African cricket history against England with his record-breaking half-century.
