What did the Ministry of Home Affairs say in the order?
According to the order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, “Minority communities of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan – Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian – who were forced to take shelter in India due to religious harassment or fear of it and entered the country without legitimate documents on or before 31 December 2024, will be exempted from the rule of valid passports and visa.” (input language)
