New Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Launched: Volkswagen India launched the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) new Tiguan R-Line Tiguan R-Line. The company said on Monday that the SUV is an excellent example of German engineering and is designed on the MQB Evo platform, known for advanced chassis technology and tremendous performance. The new Tiguan is Tiguan of the R-line third generation, which has been launched in India with the theme ‘Beyond Better’. Talking about the features, it has 9 airbags. On the occasion of the launch, Volkswagen India brand director Ashish Gupta said that with the new Tiguan R-Line, we are making a new start in the premium stylish and technology SUV category in India. This SUV is not just fantastic in appearance but also fully prepared for all kinds of paths and driving experiences.
The design of the new Tiguan R-line is extremely attractive and dynamic. LED plus headlight in the front, glass cover horizontal strip and ‘R’ inspired 19-inch coovantry alloy wheels give it a premium look. The rear also has a new LED strip and exclusive design. Talking about the interior, this SUV provides premium features like ‘R’ badging sports seats, 30 colored ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, welcome lighting and stainless steel paddle.
Tiguan R-line has been equipped with features such as massage seats, 3-zone air-care climatronic, Park Assist Plus and Dual smartphone wireless charging. This includes a digital cockpit of 26.04 cm, 38.1 cm infotainment system, headup display and multi-function experience dial, making driving smart and comfortable.
The new Tiguan R-line has a 2.0-liter TSI EVO engine, which generates 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4 motion all-wheel drive.
