Tensions between India and Pakistan are at the peak after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the brutal killing of 26 people. The Government of India has made it clear that it will take strong action against the terrorists and its boss. Meanwhile, there has been a big meeting between India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Japan’s Defense Minister Nakatani. Discussions have also been made about the Pahalgam terror attack in this meeting.

What issues discussed?

According to the information, there has been a meeting between India and Japan’s Defense Ministers on Monday over the Pahalgam terrorist attacks, the increasing tension between India and Pakistan and the increasing military activities of China in the South China Sea. Both sides have discussed further to increase regional and international security conditions and bilateral defense cooperation. This is the second meeting of Defense Ministers of both countries in the last 6 months.

Rajnath said thanks to the government of Japan

In a meeting of India-Japan Defense Ministers, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said- “I want to thank the government of Japan for showing strong solidarity with India in view of the Pahalgam terror attack. On this occasion, I appreciate you for your immense contribution to further deepening the India-Japanese defense relations.”

Terrorism condemned in meeting

After the Defense Ministerial meeting of India and Japan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted on X- “Japan’s Defense Minister General Nakatani San in New Delhi was happy. There is a special, strategic and global partnership between India and Japan. During the meeting we discussed defense cooperation and regional security.
