Pakistan’s strike shocked Pakistan, its big airport closed for the next 48 hours
Pakistan has closed all its major airports for the next 48 hours after a strike by the Indian Army on midnight (6-7 May) under Operation Sindoor. These include Lahore and Islamabad Airports. Pakistan has allegedly shut down its airspace and suspended operations at several airports including Islamabad International Airport. Operation Sindoor is a coordinated military attack targeting nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK).
All flights cancell
A video of Lahore Airport has also surfaced on social media in which a local Pakistani at the airport is saying that at this time, Emergency has been imposed at Lahore Airport and the airport has been closed for 48 hours. All the flights have been canceled. In response to India’s diplomatic steps after the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan had closed its airspace for Indian airlines and now it has closed major airports for 48 hours.
India gave a befitting reply
Indian armed forces successfully attacked nine terrorist bases including four in Pakistan, Bahawalpur, MuridK and five in Sialkot and POJK. This operation was a joint effort by the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The objective of the attacks was to eliminate the big leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), both responsible for carrying out terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that five places have been attacked and the country has the right to “forcefully respond. The troubled Pakistani army fired cannons along the Line of Control in Bhimbar Gali area of Poonch-Rajouri sector. Struggle violations continue for 10 days.
