In a message issued by the Railway Board, the Railway Board said, “Pakistani intelligence agencies can call railway officials and ask for confidential information about military trains. Railway officials are warned that sharing such information to any unauthorized person other than military railway staff will be considered a violation of security and it will be a serious threat to national security.” Significantly, the Military Railways is a special branch of Indian Railways which provides logistical support to security forces.
