After this attack, PM Narendra Modi wrote on the social media site, ‘I strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who lose your loved ones. I pray that the injured people recover as soon as possible. All possible assistance is being provided to the affected people. Those behind this heinous act, they will be brought to the dock of justice, they will not be spared! Their nefarious agenda will never succeed.
