New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Saudi Arabia. There is a possibility of increasing Haj quota for Indian pilgrims during this tour. Leaders of both countries will also negotiate on this issue. According to the information, there may be an agreement between India and Saudi Arabia on at least six compromise memorandum (MoU). The two countries are expected to formalize compromise memorandum in major areas including space, energy, health, science and research, culture and advanced technology.

Prime Minister Modi tweeted that I am leaving for Jeddah of Saudi Arabia, where I will participate in various meetings and programs. India values its historical relations with Saudi Arabia. In the last decade, there has been a significant speed in bilateral relations. I am keen to attend the second meeting of the Strategic Participation Council. I will also interact with the Indian community there.
PM Modi will go to Jeddah city first
This will be PM Modi’s third visit to Saudi Arabia in the last decade and will be the first visit to the historic city of Jeddah. The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia said in a post on X, “The India-Saudi high-level task force held its meeting in Riyadh on 21 April. Concrete efforts were made to finalize additional agreements in the areas of trade, investment and defense in 24 hours before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival. Modi is going to reach Saudi Arabia on Tuesday at the mold of Saudi Crown Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
