Punjab and Haryana face to face with water
Let us know that the long-standing water-sharing dispute between Punjab and Haryana has once again caught fire. Tension has increased due to recent cuts in water supply from Bhakra Nangal Dam. The Haryana government has demanded 8,500 cusecs of water, however, Punjab has rejected the request that it does not have additional water. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) -led Punjab government has already reduced the daily water quota of Haryana from 9,500 cusecs to 4,000 cusecs.
