New Delhi: During the debate on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi retaliated on the Congress and the PM not only reminded the opposition of the old things but also opened the internal discord of the party. PM Modi, taking a sarcasm at the Congress, said that some leaders of the party have been banned from speaking in Parliament. Not only this, some people also object to praising India. His statement is being seen as the recent disagreement of Shashi Tharoor’s party. The PM has appealed to the Congress leaders not to talk against the country under the pressure of a family.

The PM said, “The sad and surprising thing is that those who consider themselves as the big leaders of the Congress are surprised why India’s attitude was introduced to the world. Perhaps some leaders have been stopped from speaking in the House.” On this comment of people, people’s attention in Parliament immediately went towards Shashi Tharoor, whose growing distance from the Congress high command was also captured by the camera.

Increasing distance between Congress and Tharoor

The Congress did not stop Tharoor from joining the government -led delegations abroad under the Operation Sindoor Abhiyan, but did not even nominate him for any official party role in this attempt. However, the central government invited him to lead the delegation to the United States and other countries, this was a step that deepened the current tension between Tharoor and the party leadership. After that, his open praise for the government’s way of dealing with Operation Sindoor made the relationship more tense.

Tharoor and Manish Tiwari’s silence

Amidst speculation whether Tharoor would be allowed to speak in a debate on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, Tharoor kept silence. Even after Prime Minister Modi’s speech in Parliament, he kept silence. When the media persons asked him about the clear reference given by Prime Minister Modi about him, Tharoor said, “Many people will be willing to talk to the press. I am not.”
Earlier, former Union Minister and Congress MP from Chandigarh, Manish Tiwari, who was out of the main debate despite being part of the Operation Sindoor campaign abroad, wrote a mysterious post on X (first Twitter):

“Hai Preet Jahan Ke Reet Sada, I sing the song there, I am a resident of India, I tell about India. Jai Hind.”
When asked about it, he gave a direct reply: “There is a saying in English,” If you do not understand my silence, you will never understand my words. “
