Explosion in house in Kannun
In the Kannur district of Kerala, there was a loud explosion on Friday and Saturday. A sudden explosion in a house caused sensation, there is news of a person’s death in the blast. A horrific explosion occurred in a rented house in Kijhara of Kannappuram in Kannur district. One person died in the blast. According to the Kannappuram police, the deceased has not been identified yet, as his body has been found in a mutilated state. The house is completely damaged.
The explosion took place at 2 am, police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot on the information of local residents. The police is busy finding out the cause of the explosion. The police team is also finding out whether some more people are buried in the wreckage of the house.

This house was of a person named Govindan, who gave this house to a person named Anup on rent. However, it is not confirmed who is the deceased. Local people say that firecrackers were made in this house and a kind of indigenous bomb would have exploded Gundu. The police is trying to find out the cause of the explosion.
Bus crushed passengers, six people killed
A bus from Kasargod to Mangaluru on Thursday collided with a bus stand and an auto-rickshaw due to a brake failure from Kasargod to Mangaluru in Talapadi, bordering Karnataka-Kerala, killing six people, including four members of the same family, died and seven were injured. The accident site is located on the border of South Kannada district of Karnataka and Kasargod district of Kerala. Police said the dead included five adults and a minor girl. According to the police, four adults who lost their lives in the accident belong to the same family. Police said the accident took place at around one and a quarter in the afternoon. According to the police, the injured are undergoing treatment in the local hospital and a preliminary investigation of the case has been started to find out the cause of the brake failure. KSRTC and traffic officials are checking the vehicle to assess the mechanical flaws and maintenance processes of the bus. Officials of KSRTC and Road Transport Department reached the spot and arranged for relief works.
