In June 2024, the actress revealed the diagnosis of her cancer through an emotional Instagram post, in which she pledged to fight the disease. Now Hina has talked about why she chose the option of getting her cancer treatment in India instead of abroad.

Talking to ANI, he said, ‘We consulted some of the best doctors in the world and he told us that everything is available in India for matters like you. We also talked to the top doctors of India and he himself said that he is so well connected globally that the best counseling in the world is available here. He said, ‘If you are not already aware, then tell that Tata Hospital is a major institute. It is connected to some of the best medical networks in the world and is one of the best hospitals in India. Hina also explained how the international level protocol is followed for the treatment of cancer in India. ‘When it comes to cancer, there is a fixed protocol for treatment and this protocol is the same worldwide – it does not change everywhere.’
