Honda Cars Price Hike: Honda Cars India is going to increase the prices of its two sedan cars from June 1, 2023. This includes Honda City and Amaze cars. The company will increase the prices of both these cars by up to 1 percent. To this, Kunal Bahl, Vice President (Sales & Marketing), Honda Cars India, said, “While our endeavor is to partially offset the increase, we plan to increase the prices for the City and Amaze by up to 1 percent from June 1. Currently, the Honda Amaze is priced between Rs 6.99 Lakh to Rs 9.6 Lakh ex-showroom, while the Strong Hybrid trims Honda City prices start at Rs 11.55 Lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, going up to the top model. 20.39 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Specifications of Honda City
The Honda City gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is capable of generating 121PS of power and 145Nm of torque. This engine is available with the option of 6-speed manual and 7-speed CVT transmission. It also gets the option of a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine equipped with a hybrid system. The sedan comes equipped with a host of features like wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, cruise control and a single-pane sunroof along with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Specifications of Honda Amaze
Honda Amaze gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which generates 90PS power and 110Nm torque. This car has the option of 5-speed manual transmission or CVT transmission. The Honda Amaze gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from these, features like auto-LED projector headlights, cruise control and paddle shifters also come in it.
