Regarding this incident, BCCI vice -president and Congress MP Rajiv Shukla said, “This can happen in any state and the ruling party should not be blamed for this. It should not be politicized. If this happens in the BJP -ruled state, we should not blame them. The crowd was very much, I did not even talk to the franchisee, I did not even think that such a huge crowd would come and this incident was suddenly.”
