Karnataka cooperative minister and Congress leader KN Rajanna on Sunday criticized Rahul Gandhi’s vote theft allegations in Tumkuru. He had said- “It should not be said … when the voter list was made? This voter list was made during the Congress rule. Why did no one speak at that time? Why were the eyes closed? If I speak more now, the situation will be worse. It is true that the BJP has done wrong, it cannot be denied. But it is a matter of thinking that all this happened in front of our eyes.

According to the information, on the instructions of the high command, CM Siddaramaiah has taken the resignation of Cooperative Minister Kn Rajanna. Rahul Gandhi was very angry with the statement of Minister KN Rajanna, who is considered special of CM. According to sources, the CM had received clear instructions from the high command that Rajanna would have to drop from the cabinet immediately.
Rajanna was not ready to resign
According to information received from sources, Rajanna was not ready to resign but the deadline was given by the CM till this evening and it was said that if he did not resign voluntarily, he would have to be removed under compulsion. During the assembly proceedings, the CM first held a separate meeting with Rajanna after which Rajanna submitted his resignation to the CM and the CM approved him. Let me tell you that earlier Rajanna said- “I have not resigned. I will talk to the Chief Minister and give clarification.” However, shortly after this, Rajanna resigned from the Karnataka Cabinet.
