Aamir Khan expressed happiness when he became a part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, said- will take a great experience
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2025 began with a grand press conference, in which Bollywood’s Aamir Khan expressed enthusiasm about being a part of this year’s IFFM. Aamir Khan says that he is very happy to be a part of IFFM 2025.
On this occasion, along with Aamir Khan, Veer Das, Tilottama Shom, Jim Sarbh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shoojit Sarkar, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, R.S. Prasanna (director Stars on the ground), singer Lisa Mishra and famous casting director Mukesh Chhabra were present. Apart from this, Tanushree Das, the talented director of the film Bakhsho Bandi, and the actors of his team were also present, as it is being introduced as the opening night film of the Film Festival.
On this occasion, Aamir Khan said, it looks great after coming to Melbourne. I am very happy to be a part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. It is a great platform of cinema that connects people and cultures. I am sure that all the films and filmmakers who attend this festival will take a great experience.
Festival director Mitu Bhomik Lange expressed his happiness, saying, “Every year IFFM brings amazing stories, best talents and the passion of cinema on a platform which is beyond the boundaries.” The inspirational voices of Indian cinema have a great union in Melbourne.
He said, we are proud that we are hosting stories like Aamir Khan, Shoojit Sarkar and Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, and such artists whose acting touches the audience around the world. This year’s program, which starts with Bakhsho Bandi, is the best example of creativity, diversity and cinema. The support of the Victorian government and the presence of so many prestigious guests not only makes this festival a cultural festival, but also a bridge strengthening the relations between India and Australia.
