Aamir Khan left the OTT for the release of the star on the ground
Aamir Khan’s much awaited film ‘Stars Zameen Par’ has finally come to theaters. It is being considered as the Spiritual Sequel to the 2007 cute film Taare Zameen Par. The film not only for its emotional heritage, but also for Aamir’s decision, in which he chose the path of theatrical release, leaving OTT.
These steps are an attempt to revive the big screen experience and bring the audience to theaters, which was also considered a big risk. In such a situation, Bengali superstar Prosejit Chatterjee has also considered the importance of this decision.

In an interview recently, Pronsonjit Chatterjee praised Aamir Khan’s decision. He said that changes are important, but only one can take such a big step that has an understanding and experience like Aamir. He said, they can take the risk. They have been serving the industry for years and they understand the pulse of the audience and their condolences well.
Prosenjit Chatterjee recalled the era when theater business was suffering from the increasing trend of CDs. He said, I remember when the content was sold directly to CD companies and it used to get a lot of money to the producers. But after a year or two, it was realized that films come in the market in a few days and theaters are losing.

He said, then I called all the producers for a meeting and we all decided together to sell the rights but after the theater release, at least 9 to 12 weeks of gap would be necessary. All the producers came together and gradually changed the situation to some extent.
Prosenjit praised Aamir, saying, Bengali and Hindi films used to appear on TV in three-four weeks. Then we decided that it would be given only after eight weeks. A person who takes this kind of thinking and risk to save theater business and cinema can be Aamir Khan.
He said, nothing has changed now, the film first comes on OTT, then on satellite TV. In this way we reach our Indian audience. But let’s see how Aamir’s attempt (only the model released in the theater) works, and I hope it will work.
