The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025 began on Thursday with a grand press conference. A video of Aamir Khan and his girlfriend Gauri Sprat is going viral online. The events present at the event included Aamir Khan, comedians and actor Veer Das, admired artist Tilottama Shom, Jim Sarbh and Aditi Rao Hydari, filmmakers Shoojit Sarkar, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and RS Prasanna (director of the ground), and acclaimed casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Aamir Khan is currently in the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne with his girlfriend Gauri Sprat. A video of both of them arrived online. Aamir Khan looked gorgeous in white traditional dress and black colored bandhgala ethnic coat. Gauri Sprat wore a purple salwar suit with a purple colored bandh print with beige dupatta. Aamir Khan’s previous release, the stars on the ground, were highly appreciated by the audience and critics. A special screening of him was held in Mumbai before its release in theaters. Aamir Khan, his girlfriend Gauri Sprot and sister Nikhat Khan Hegde arrived in the same car. Gauri and Aamir appeared in the car sitting next to each other.

Earlier, in a conversation with Podcaster Raj Shamani, Aamir Khan spoke about his first meeting with Gauri Sprat. He had said, ‘Gauri and I met the mistake and we joined each other, we became friends and then fell in love. I felt that my mother, children, siblings are all with me, I have such a close relationship that I do not need any partner. ‘
About Melbourne’s Indian Film Festival
The 16th edition of the IFFM promises a magnificent range of film screening, special programs, panel discussions and annual flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate India’s Independence Day. The festival to be held from 14 to 24 August, films and OTT shows released between June 15, 2024 and 14 June 2025 are honored and have the support of the Victorian government. Aamir Khan, along with his girlfriend Gauri Sprat, appeared at the inauguration ceremony of Melbourne’s Indian Film Festival. The actor thanked this year for being a part of the event.
