Aamir Khan’s 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Parine on Friday won a 17.73% theater occupancy in Hindi, with the morning show 16.74%, afternoon shows 16.25% and evening shows 20.21%. The most occupancy was 29.33% in Jaipur region.
The film did not live up to expectations
The stars have not met the expectations on the ground, as it was estimated to earn around 30 crores on the first day. However, the film can gain momentum in the initial weekend due to positive propaganda just like the star on the ground. The 2007 film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ earned Rs 2.62 crore on its first day, but eventually proved to be a box office hit. Directed by RS Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the star on the ground includes 10 new artists named Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Sansai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Jain, Naman Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.
