Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is going to bring the social issue on screen once again, this time the film is ‘Stars Zameen Par’. The film is definitely similar in the title from the 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par, but the story is completely new and different. It is a Hindi remake of the Spanish film released in 2018. ‘Stars Zameen Par’ is a story like a special children’s superhero, in which Aamir himself is playing a inspiring role. The film reflects children’s ability, hope and confidence. It is an emotional and motivational film.
Aamir’s special preparation
Aamir Khan participated in special education and counseling sessions with children for 6 months to prepare for this film, so that he could bring the character closer to the reality. From the title of the film, people were considering it as a sequel to ‘Taare Zameen Par’, but Aamir has made it clear that the film is a new story, and only the title is kept as an emotional link.
Story of star on the ground
Gulshan (Aamir Khan) is the assistant coach of a basketball team. He is an arrogant person and his behavior is also very bad. He is fired after pushing the head coach during the game due to disagreement over the team’s strategy. Gulshan is ordered for a community service to either spend two years in jail or give a community service to a team of basketball players of ‘special children’ for drunk on the back of a police car.
Gulshan complains about giving coaching to these children and they are called Sabnormal (below normal). However, as he continues to coach the team, he realizes that each player has a unique background and is extremely firm in working and playing well. Along with this, the story of Gulshan and his wife (Genelia Deshmukh) is also shown in the film.

The film has been directed by R.S. Prasanna, who first made a sensitive but entertaining film like Shubh Mangal Savdhan. R.S. Prasanna is one of those directors who understand the subject deeply and specialize in reaching the common audience in a simple way.
R.S. Prasanna’s specialty is to thread humor and hope in emotions. He along with Aamir worked on the script of this film for about two years, so that the film became a cinematic experience rather than just a message.
