Aamir Khan made a big disclosure on India TV about the movie Dangal released in 2016. He said that Pakistan Censor Board wanted to remove the scene of the national flag and the national anthem to release this film there. The Pak Sensor Board had laid this condition in front of the film’s producers Disney but we did not accept that condition and refused to release ‘Dangal’ in Pakistan.

Aamir Khan said, ‘You remember my film Dangal. It was said by Dangal’s producers Disney that we have received a reaction from Pakistan’s Censor Board that at the end of this film, after the winning of Geeta Phogat, our tricolor goes up and the national anthem. He (Pak Sensor Board) said that you should remove these two things. Remove the National Anthem (national anthem) of Hindustan and you remove the Indian Flag (Rashtriya Flag) or else we will not pass this film. So I told Disney people in a second that our film will not be released in Pakistan. Meaning I do not need to think. So he said (disney) that we will make a difference in our business, we will be harmed. Those who will tell us to take out our Indian flag and remove our national anthem, I do not have interest in them. I do not want that business.
