Prime Minister Narendra Modi has justified Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on his visit to Gujarat. PM Modi said that Omar Abdullah’s visit to ‘Statue of Unity’ will inspire all Indians to travel to different parts of the country. It is known that Omar Abdullah had come to Ahmedabad to attend a tourism program.

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir CM Abdullah posted pictures of his morning race on the famous Sabarmati Riverfront. He said, ‘This is one of the most beautiful places where I have been able to run and it is a pleasure for me to share it with so many other pedestrians/runners. I also passed away from the amazing ‘Atal Foot Bridge’.

Standing on the dam wall in Ekta Nagar, talking to the media, Abdullah said that he never thought that these two structures would be so impressive. He said, ‘Both these structures are a true tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the iron men of India. These structures are a symbol of new India. Just think how much this dam helped us in providing water to dried areas like Kutch. People’s lives changed due to this project.
We were not so lucky- Abdullah
Along with this, CM Abdullah said, ‘We (people of Jammu and Kashmir) were not so lucky, because we could not even imagine such projects. Because we were not allowed to stop the river water. Now that the Indus Water Treaty has been suspended, we see a ray of hope.
