Jaipur: As soon as he flew in Jaipur, the air India aircraft caused a technical fault, due to which the emergency landing of the aircraft had to be done. The aircraft was on a flight from Delhi to Mumbai. The aircraft had to take back on the runway, 18 minutes after the flying.

What happened after flying?

According to the information, Air India flight AI-612 flew from Jaipur Airport to Mumbai at 1.58 pm. However, the time of its take off is 1:35 in the afternoon. The aircraft took off to Mumbai with a delay of about 23 minutes. The aircraft got technical disturbances immediately after flying. As soon as the pilot came to know of the disturbance, he immediately decided to return the aircraft.

The aircraft pilot sought permission from Jaipur ATC for emergency landing. Emergency landing at Jaipur Airport at 2:16 pm. All the passengers aboard the aircraft are safe. The aircraft is currently undergoing technical investigation.

Technical fault in Air India Express also

Similarly, another incident came to light late on Wednesday night when another aircraft of Air India Express going from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi could not fly due to technical fault. According to an official, the pilot was seen disturbed in the Necockpit screen just before the flying.

Airlines discovered 183 technical flaws till 21 July: Government

According to the central government, this year, five airlines of the country have detected 183 technical flaws in their aircraft till July 21 and informed the DGCA. The government said that Air India and Air India Express reported 85 technical flaws in total, while IndiGo and Akasa Air reported 62 and 28 technical flaws respectively. At the same time, SpiceJet reported eight such flaws.

All these figures are till July 21 this year. The number of technical flaws recorded in the year 2024 was 421, which is less than 448 reported in 2023. The number of technical flaws reported in 2022 was 528. These three years of figures also include the data of Alliance Air and East Vistara.
