Ejaz Khan has an old relationship with controversies. Ejaz Khan, who has been engulfed in many controversies so far, has now given birth to a new controversy. Now the controversy over his controversial show ‘House Arrest’ is hot. The controversy is about the pornographic content of the show, which led to the controversy when its video clips went viral on social media. In the video, female contestants were seen taking off their clothes and in a video, Ejaz asks the contestants to give intimate poses. As soon as these clips went viral, there was a demand for ban on the show. Bajrang Dal also expressed objections to the content of the show and lodged a complaint. Now a big decision has been taken by the owl app on the Bajrang Dal complaint.

Episode of House Arrest removed from owl app

Many political parties including Bajrang Dal objected to the show named ‘House Arrest’ of the owl app. In such a situation, the Bajrang Dal had lodged its complaint in the context of the ongoing dispute over the show and now the owl app has made all the shows of air of the house arrest and has also asked for a formal forgiveness from the Bajrang Dal.

NCW also sent summons

On the other hand, the National Commission for Woman (NCW) also objected to the show and sent summons to Vibhu Aggarwal and Host Ejaz Khan, CEO of the owl app. Both have been instructed to appear before NCW by 9 May. The app is accused of spreading obscenity. According to Saman, a video clip of the show went viral on 29 April 2025, in which Ejaz Khan asks Female Contestants to take off clothes in front of the camera and give intimate poses. According to the Commission, it is not only against the dignity of women, but also promotes sexual harassment cases in the name of entertainment.

Child Rights Protection Commission also raised the matter

Let me tell you, the Child Rights Protection Commission demanded action on the owl app in March last year. In a letter written by the Commission to the Ministry of IT, it was said that the content of this app is having a bad effect on school children. The owl app is making a show with pornographic content, targeting school children, whose complaints have been received. The Child Rights Protection Commission said in its letter that Google Play Store and iOS are not following the rules of any KYC policy or age verification. Content of the owl app has violated the poxo law, which the Commission has taken cognizance. Owl Digital also applied for IPO on BSE SME platform. At present, no concrete action was taken on this matter and still pornography is being traded through this app. Now NCW has also taken action on the matter and issued notice to the CEO and Ejaz Khan of the owl app.
