India The largest renewable energy company Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has made a new record by crossing the Historical Operational Capacity of 15,000 MW (MW). The company’s operational capacity has now reached 15,539.9 MW. This achievement shows the fastest and biggest capacity growth ever in India. The operational portfolio of Adani Green Energy includes 11,005.5 MW solar energy, 1,977.8 MW wind energy and 2556.6 MW wind-solar hybrid capacity.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani gave information about this special achievement of the company by tweeting on Monday. Gautam Adani wrote, “It is happy to say that Adani Green has overcome 15,000 MW renewable energy capacity, which is the largest and fastest green energy in India’s history. From the desert landscape of Khawda to the glorious place among the top 10 green energy producers in the world, this milestone is more than a number.
Target to reach 50,000 MW by 2030
Agel is the first and only renewable energy company in India to achieve this historical achievement mainly through Greenfield Projects. On this achievement of the company, AGEL CEO Ashish Khanna said, “It is a matter of pride to cross the achievement of 15,000 MW. This achievement is a proof of our team’s tireless focus and dedication. It is not possible without our promoters’ visionaries, customers, teams and partners, which are not possible with our target from 2030 to every step. To grow up to 50,000 MW, it has to continue to grow firmly in its mission to provide electricity to India and the world with permanent energy solutions. ”
The company can provide electricity to the entire Northeast with renewable energy
AGEL’s 15,539.9 MW existing operating portfolio can provide electricity to about 79 lakh homes. Green energy produced by the company can illuminate 13 different Indian states. AGEL’s operational portfolio can provide electricity from renewable energy to the entire northeast region. This milestone coincides with Agel to complete unmatched speed and 10 years of providing clean and inexpensive energy to India.
