Adani Group will set up Global Center of Excellence in Health Service, agreement with DMIHER
Adani Group’s CSR Unit, Adani Foundation has tied up with the Deemed University Dutta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (DMIHER) at Maharashtra to develop it as a global excellence (COE) in the affordable health education and distribution system. The Foundation gave this information on Thursday. This cooperation is inspired by the Chairman Gautam Adani’s philosophy- “Seva hee is sadhana hai” and reflects the belief of a diverse group that access to quality healthcare and education is the basic basis of nation building. This collaboration is according to the concept of Adani Group’s “Temple of Healthcare”, which redefines health facilities not only as treatment centers, but also as institutions of service, respect and compassion.
What is the purpose of this cooperation
According to the news, the aim of alliance with DMIHER is to strengthen India’s health education ecosystem, educational innovation, diagnostic research and the institute’s reach and impact in community health. The cooperation between Adani Foundation and DMIHER will pave the way for scalable, affordable and high quality healthcare and education. It also embodies the mission of the Adani Foundation of upliftment of communities through purposeful service – where opportunity, access and compassion meet together.

Maharashtra -based Deemed University Dutta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research currently operates 15 institutes and 5 educational hospitals. It offers 217 educational programs in 13 subjects including graduation, postgraduate, super-specialty, doctorate and fellowship courses. On the occasion of the announcement of this cooperation, Dr. Preeti Adani, chairperson of Adani Foundation, said that this cooperation with DMIHER shows our belief that access to quality healthcare and education is a fundamental right – not privilege. We are proud to support the construction of the Center for Excellence that will add academic innovation, clinical research and community care.
