US President Donald Trump has recently announced an additional 25% fee on Indian goods for oil imports from Russia. 25% tariff has been implemented from August 7, while the additional 25% tariff has been announced from August 27.
In such a situation, this message of the Prime Minister is being seen as a strategy to boost indigenous products and strengthen ‘Made in India’ amid foreign pressure.
Self -reliant India in mobile construction: PM Modi said that 11 years ago India used to ask for phones of its needs from outside, but now 30 to 35 crore mobile phones are being made every year in the country and they are also being exported. Merchants leave foreign goods: The Prime Minister appealed that traders should stop selling foreign goods and sell the products of ‘Made in India’ with full pride. He said that earlier traders used to bring foreign goods for more profits, but now the time has come to promote local products.
Pictures from toys to exports: PM further said that until a decade ago, India used to get toys from outside. Today the situation has changed and the country is exporting toys to more than 100 countries. He said that this change is proof that India is becoming self -sufficient and is connecting the world with local products.
