New Delhi: In a phone conversation with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Afghanistan’s acting Foreign Minister Aamir Khan Muttki dismissed Pakistan’s allegations of missile attacks by India on Afghanistan. Official sources gave information about this on Friday. The phone conversation between Jaishankar and Muttki on Thursday, the highest level of contact between New Delhi and Kabul was the highest level of contact between New Delhi and Kabul since the Taliban gained control in August 2021.

During the phone conversation, Jaishankar welcomed Muttki to strongly dismiss the recent efforts to create mistrust between India and Afghanistan through a false and unfounded report. This was a clear reference to a class report of Pakistani media, claiming that India resorted to the Taliban to carry out the ‘false operation’ in Pahalgam.
Strong condemnation of Pahalgam attack
Sources said that in the phone talks once again, the Taliban side strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack and dismissed Pakistan’s allegations of missile attacks by India on Afghanistan soil. Sources said that both Jaishankar and Muttki also agreed to remain in touch. (Language)
