The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) has announced India’s Under-19 team for the tour of Australia. India’s youth team will play three ODIs and two four-day matches against Australia in September-October. The tour will begin with the first ODI on 21 September, while the last match will be played on 10 October.
BCCI Secretary Devjot Saikia issued a statement on Wednesday, saying, “The Junior Selection Committee has chosen India’s Under-19 team for the tour of Australia, which will play three ODIs and two multi-day matches there.”
India’s Under-19 team recently returned to England, where they had won the five-match Youth ODI series 3–2. At the same time, two youth tests were drawn. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vihaan Malhotra scored a brilliant centuries on the England tour. Especially in the fourth ODI, India batted first and scored 363 runs and won the series with the same match.
