After consulting Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkummar Rao bought apartments in Mumbai, also revealed his first salary

Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao has made a distinct identity in the industry with his strong performance. Rajkummar Rao came to Mumbai with only 5 thousand rupees. He had to live by drinking only water many times during Struggle days. He did not give up and entered the world of acting with the film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhup’ in 2010.

Recently, Rajkummar Rao arrived as a guest in Comedian Zakir Khan’s show ‘Tumha Apna Zakir’. Rajkummar Rao remembered many old stories. Rajkummar Rao discussed his journey from becoming a dance teacher to buying his house in Mumbai.

Rajkummar Rao had also revealed that he had bought his apartment after consulting Shah Rukh Khan. Talking about his first salary, he said, “I have been dancing since childhood, and when I was in 8th grade, I used to teach dance to a 7 -year -old child.” I used to go to his house by bicycle and I used to get 300 rupees for it. When I got my first salary, I was very happy because my family situation was not very good.

Rajkumar had said, I got 300 rupees cash, I bought grocery goods from them, with the remaining money, I bought desi ghee. I was fully ready to eat ghee bread. And I remember that on the same day when I went to the Taekwondo practice of one and a half hours, I was only thinking that I would go home and ghee bread would be waiting for me, which I have bought from my hard earned money.

Rajkummar Rao also told how he got advice from Shah Rukh Khan, which inspired him to buy his house in Mumbai. He told, when a person comes to this city, he dreams of buying his own house here. When Patralekha and I went out to find an apartment on rent, the broker showed us a triplex and it was not possible for us to buy it at that time.

He had said, then the broker showed us 2 more affordable houses, but Patralekha and I showed some courage, and we decided to buy the house that we could not afford at that time. A few days before this incident, I met Shahrukh sir and he asked me if I bought the house, I said no.

Rajkumar said, then Shah Rukh advised me that whenever you decide to take your house, buy something that is out of your league, because when you do this, God will help you and you will work hard to make that house your own. So, I was inspired to buy a house and work hard for him. And, with this thinking, we bought that house and after some time, we bought another house.
