A surprising case has come to light from Belagavi district of Karnataka. During the banquet held after marriage, there was a sharp debate over an additional piece of meat. During this time, the dispute increased so much that a 30 -year -old man was stabbed to death. The incident occurred on Sunday on the outskirts of Yaragatti city of Belagavi district. After this incident, the atmosphere of celebration turned into mourning.
Debate on the number of meat pieces
According to the information given by the police, the deceased has been identified as Vinod Malashatti. Vitthal Harugop allegedly attacked Vinod after a debate over the number of meat pieces. This dinner was organized by newly married Abhishek Kopad for friends on his farm after his wedding ceremony. The debate increased so much that Vitthal angrily stabbed Vinod’s stomach. Vinod died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.
People threatened by waving sword, arrested
In another news, a person was arrested on Monday afternoon in a village in South Kannada district in Karnataka for threatening and intimidating people. Police said that in Boluvaru area of Kasba village in Puttur in Dakshin Kannada district, a person started to intimidate people with a sword in his hand, after which Puttur Nagar police reached the spot and arrested the accused. During interrogation, the accused has been identified as Raju (45), a resident of Haasan, who is currently living in Bantwal. The accused is being questioned by the police. Police said that a case has been registered in connection with the incident. The police is investigating the case to find out why the accused threatened the people and whether more people are involved in this case. (input language)
