After the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, the ICC assesses the pitch, the rating will fly away; England became embarrassed
IND vs Eng Test Series Pitch Report: The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy proved to be one of the most exciting series in Test cricket history this year. All the five Tests lasted for five days and finally the series ended at 2–2. In the final Test played at Kennington Oval, London, India defeated England by 6 runs and equaled in the series.
This series (Ind vs Eng) saw a tremendous battle between the ball and the bat. In the initial days, the batsmen dominated, while as the match progressed, the role of the bowlers became more important. There was a lot of discussion about the quality of the pitches and most experts praised the wicket preparations for this series, but the ICC ratings were not as special.

Four of the five Test pitch ratings have been revealed. Of these, only the first Test (Handingley) received a ‘very good’ rating, all the rest were called ‘satisfactory’.
First test – Headingley, Leeds – Pitch Rating: Very Nice, Outfield Rating: Very Good
Second test – Edgbaston, Birmingham – Pitch Rating: Satisfactory, Outfield Rating: Very Good
Third test – Lords, London – Pitch Rating: Satisfactory, outfield rating: very good
Fourth test – Old Trafford, Manchester – Pitch Rating: Satisfactory, outfield rating: very good
The rating of the fifth and last Test (Kennington Oval) is not yet decided.
IND vs Eng: Drama, pain and memorable moments
The scorline of 2-2 of this series may show equal, but it is not fully able to statement the emotional roller-coaster, which was lived by the players and fans. The series was full of brave performances, tremendous drama, players playing despite injury and heart touching moments, which made it always memorable.
