Agra shocker! Man films wife’s sexual assault by friend, blackmails her to pay Rs 2 lakh | Crime News
The man demanded Rs 2 lakh from his wife and threatened to leak a video he filmed of her getting sexually assaulted if she did not paid him the amount.
Police have arrested the man and his friend for their alleged involvement in the sexual assault.
Agra: In a shocking incident, a man in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra allegedly got his wife raped by his friend while he filmed the sexual assault only to blackmail his spouse, demanding Rs 2 lakh and threatening to post it on the internet otherwise, police said.
A case has been registered in this connection and both accused have been arrested. The victim is a daily-wage worker in Agra’s Sita Nagar area under the Etmaddaula police station and has a 12-year-old son, News18 reported.
Recorded video of sexual assault by friend
In her complaint, the woman alleged that her husband visits home only a few days each month. In September, he arrived with a friend from Achhnera, Agra, bringing food from outside, and they all had dinner together. Later, she went to sleep with her son.
The next morning, her husband demanded Rs 5,000 for some work, which she gave him. A few days later, he called her and demanded Rs 2 lakh, threatening to make a video he had secretly recorded of her go viral if she refused to pay.
When she inquired what video is he talking about, he showed it to her. To her shock, she realised that the man, in a drunken state, had made his friend sexually assault her. She requested her husband to not post the video but the accused demanded Rs 2 lakh from her for not doing so.
Helpless, the woman approached the police and lodged the complaint following which the two men were taken into custody.
ACP Hemant Kumar said the woman claimed in her complaint she was raped after her husband intoxicated her and also filmed the act. The accused sent the video on her wife’s phone in a bid to blackmail her to give him Rs 2 lakh.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law and further investigation is underway, he said.
