Ahmedabad aircraft accident: Aaib got angry with foreign media careless coverage
Ahmedabad plane crash
Aaib has expressed displeasure over negligent media coverage over a plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation said that many international media institutions have done negligent coverage in the matter and are trying to draw conclusions based on initial facts. This may affect the investigation of the case. The investigating agency has asked people to exercise restraint. The Wall Street General claimed in his report that the captain had stopped the fuel supply. The accident occurred due to this. However, this has not been confirmed in the investigation report. In such a situation, Aaib has appealed to foreign media to be a little restrained.
The investigating agency said that the purpose of the investigation and preliminary report of the AAIB is to provide information about what happened at the time of the accident. This report should be seen in this way. This should not try to reach any conclusion.
No investigation is completed
AAIB said, “It is too early to reach any certain conclusion. The investigation of the AAIB is not yet complete. The final investigation report will come up with the root reasons and suggestions.” On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported that a recording of a conversation between the two pilots of the aircraft showed that the captain had stopped the flow of fuel into the engines of the aircraft. There is a lot of ruckus on this report. The Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP) has also expressed displeasure over the report. FIP President Captain Randhawa dismissed these claims as baseless and said to take action against the media institute.
