New Delhi: Air India’s aircraft going from Delhi to London returned after filling up due to the technical problem. According to the information, Air India flight number AI2017 had to return due to technical problems. Now arrangements are being made to send passengers to London by other aircraft.

What did Air India spokesperson say?

An Air India spokesman said that on July 31, flight number AI2017 from Delhi to London returned due to suspected technical problem. The Cockpit crew decided to stop the flight, following the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and brought back the aircraft for precautionary investigation.

These arrangements are being made for passengers

An Air India spokesman said that an alternative aircraft is being deployed to take passengers to London as soon as possible. Our ground staff is providing all possible help to the passengers. Passengers are being well taken care of and their facilities are being taken care of.

Many such incidents came to light earlier this month

Many flights of Air India have already faced such problems. Last week, an Air India flight from Jaipur to Mumbai returned only 18 minutes after flying due to technical fault. In a statement released later, Air India said that the crew indicated a technical problem, due to which the aircraft had to be returned.

Earlier, another flight of Air India Express from Calicut International Airport to Doha had to return two hours after flying due to technical fault. According to officials, disturbances in the AC cabin of the aircraft were reported.

More than 180 technical flaws were detected

Earlier this month, the central government had told in Parliament that five airline companies had reported 183 technical flaws by July 21. Out of these 183, Air India and Air India Express reported 85 technical flaws. 62 reports were given by IndiGo, 28 by Akasa Air and eight by SpiceJet.
