Air India has announced compensation in a post on social media platform X. Air India said in its post, “Air India is standing in solidarity with the families of passengers who lost their lives in the recent accident. Our teams are making every effort to provide care and assistance during this incredibly difficult time.”
Rs 25 lakh assistance amount
Further in the post, Air India said, “As part of our continuous efforts, Air India will provide interim payments of ₹ 25 lakh or about 21,000 GBP to the families and survivors of the deceased to help in meeting immediate financial needs. It is already declared by Tata Sons or about 85,000 GBP assistance.” Air India says that we are all saddened by the damage caused by this accident.
What did Tata Group announce?
Apart from this, compensation has also been announced by Tata Sons. The Tata Group wrote in a post, “The Tata Group will give a assistance of ₹ 1 crore to the families of every person who lost their lives in this tragedy. We will also bear the medical expenditure of the injured and ensure that they will get all the necessary care and help. In addition, we will provide assistance in the construction of BJ Medical Hostels. We are standing with affected families and communities in this unimaginable time.”
