Air India Cancelled his 3 international flights on Wednesday for different reasons, including maintenance and technical fault. The airline company said that 2 of these flights were canceled after passengers rode on the plane. Air India reported that it had to cancel flight AI188, which flew from Toronto to New Delhi on 18 June due to more than the maintenance and crew members’ duty time regulatory criteria. The company said that passengers who had already boarded the aircraft were removed after the flight was canceled.

Flight to Bali returned to Delhi due to volcanic explosion

Air India said that on 18 June 2025, flight AI996 from Dubai to Delhi was canceled due to technical reasons and passengers were taken down after boarding the aircraft. The airline company said that flight AI2145 from Delhi to Bali was also canceled, as it was advised to return to Delhi by the middle of the road due to reports of volcanic eruption near Bali. The company said that the aircraft was safely landed in Delhi and all the passengers were taken off.

Boeing 787 fleet is getting strict investigation

Tata Group’s airline Air India said that alternative arrangements are being made to reach the passengers to their destinations at the earliest. Passengers have also been offered full refund and free trip resade. Air India said it feared some disruption of Boeing 787 fleet’s tough investigation, airspace restrictions and bad weather (in flight operations). A day after the flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to Gatwick (London), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has ordered to increase the monitoring of the Boeing 787 Fleet.
