The technical fault in Air India aircraft has again surfaced. Air India flight AI 504 from Kochi, Kerala to Delhi, caused technical fault late Sunday night. The aircraft was about to fly from Kochi to Delhi, but the pilot felt a problem shortly before the takeoff. The pilot immediately approached the ATC and stopped the takeoff.
Air India released a statement
Air India said in its statement that technical fault was detected while flying in flight number AI 504. The Cockpit crew decided not to fly, following the protocol and brought the aircraft back to the bay for maintenance investigation. According to the airline spokesperson, the process of resolving the problem has been started and alternative flights have been arranged for passengers. Cochin Airport was also informed in this regard.
MP said- it felt as if the aircraft slipped on the runway
Congress Lok Sabha MP Hibi Eden from Ernakulam was also in this flight. The Congress MP claimed that he had a feeling of slipping the aircraft on the runway. Subsequently, the second flight flew from Kochi to Delhi late at 2:30 pm. Eden said in a post on X, “The aircraft AI 504 was some abnormal. It felt as if the aircraft slipped on the runway. ”
The aircraft also featured Rajya Sabha MP JB Maths. He said that the pilot later announced that the aircraft was not good for travel. Mathar said that the pilot announced that the aircraft could not be used for travel. Therefore, passengers will be shifted to another aircraft.
Air India’s Milan-Delhi flight also canceled
Earlier on Saturday, AI’s Milan-Delhi flight was canceled due to technical fault during the flight pushback. The airline said on Sunday that maintenance malfunction was detected during the takeoff preparation. Later, the duty time of the crew members of the flight was also completed, due to which the reason was unsafe and against the rules. Air India also apologized to passengers for flight cancellation.
