More information in this case has been given by Air India. An Air India spokesperson said that there was a fire in the Assistant Electricity Unit (APU) soon after the landing and park at the flight number AI 315 coming from Hong Kong to Delhi on Tuesday. The incident occurred when the passengers started landing. As soon as the fire broke out, the APU was automatically closed according to the system design.
Flight suffered some damage due to fire
Also, it was also said by Air India that the flight has suffered some damage due to the fire. However, passenger and crew members are normally landed and safe. The aircraft has been stopped for further investigation and the regulator has been informed about the fire.
