Public sector life insurance company Indian Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) said on Friday that it has relaxed the claim settlement process for the victims of Air India plane crash. Along with this, LIC has also accelerated this process. According to PTI news, the corporation said that it is committed to assisting the affected people in the plane crash (plane crash) and will accelerate the claim settlement for the victims. LIC has announced several discounts to reduce the difficulties of the claimants of the LIC policy.

The company will accept this as proof of death

According to the news, the company said that in lieu of death certificate (death certificate), any proof or any compensation paid by the Central/State Government/Airline officials will be accepted as evidence of death in the official record of death of the policy holder due to aircraft accident. The LIC said that all efforts would be made to ensure that the claimants are reached and the claims of the affected families should be disposed of quickly.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance also said that it has established a dedicated Special Claim Settlement Desk to prioritize the processing of death and disability claims for its customers affected by this tragedy. Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance said in a statement that with extreme readiness, a quick process has been set up to dispose of these policy claims rapidly.

Bajaj Allianz said that the company has activated special measures to assist the families of its policyholders affected by the plane crash. To simplify this process, Bajaj Aaliyanz has listed a minimum documentation process that nominee, legal successor or policyholders must submit their claims to process their claims.

241 killed out of 242 people in plane crash

As you know, Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which went to London, crashed at a medical college campus on Thursday after flying from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, in which 241 out of 242 people died. The aircraft consisted of 169 Indians, 53 British citizens, seven Portuguese citizens and a Canadian citizen.
