Airtel launched India’s first unlimited international roaming plan, how users will benefit

Globally, Bharti Airtel, the communication solution provider company, has announced new schemes related to International Roaming (IR) to make international visits more simple, economical and uninterrupted than ever. Told the stock market that it has introduced India’s first IR schemes that provide unlimited data in 189 countries. He claims that this step will bring tremendous changes in customer experience regarding international roaming.

The most special of these new schemes is the recharge plan of 4000 rupees with a validity of one year, which has been specially prepared keeping in mind the overseas Indians (NRIs) and repeated travel. This plan includes five gigabytes (GB) data and 100 voice minutes abroad, while in India, customers can avail 1.5 GB of data and unlimited calls under the same plan. Through this facility, customers can use the same number in both India and abroad without recharging differently.

Siddharth Sharma, the marketing director (CEO) of Airtel’s marketing director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said that we are constantly trying to simplify the lives of our customers and provide them more value. The new international roaming plans are not only transparent but also gives complete freedom to use data and voice during the journey.

Many more facilities are also being provided by the company along with these schemes. These include in-flight connectivity, automatic active service as soon as it reaches abroad, customer support and roaming facility in 189 countries with the same pack. This will relieve passengers from the confusion of choosing zone or country-particular packs.
