Airtel’s new minimum data plan will be 1.5GB per day.

After Reliance Jio, Airtel has also shocked the customers. The company has discontinued its Rs 249 initial prepaid plan with 1GB of daily data. This decision is also indicating that the new strategy of prices is being prepared in the industry. According to the news, now Airtel’s new minimum data plan will be 1.5GB per day, which costs Rs 319. Let me tell you here, this is a little more than Jio’s Rs 299 plan. It is also feared that Vodafone Idea may also be involved in it.

According to the news, this decision by Airtel has been taken under a strategy to increase the average per user, ie ARPU, which is an important indicator of the financial health of the telecom sector. While widespread tariff hike is not possible till next year, operators are exploring such options to improve financial performance.
