Airtel’s fight against spam intensifies, users’ advantage
Bharti Airtel has launched two new features by further strengthening this technique after identifying 27.5 billion calls as spam through the Spam Detection Tools operated by Airtel (AI).
The company said on Monday that through these initiatives, Airtel wants to curb the sphemors who are cheating in India through foreign networks. The company said that in the last 6 months, international spam calls have recorded a 12 percent increase.
Airtel’s marketing director Siddharth Sharma said that we are constantly improving our solutions on the basis of customers’ response and keeping in mind India’s linguistic diversity, spam alerts will now be sent to local languages. The new feature is available to Android users and will automatically apply without any additional fee or activation process.
